Ali (Golden Gate Institute for Integrative Medicine) provides a solid introduction to the different kinds of hepatitis and to the liver's fundamental role. Chapters are short and succinct, and difficult vocabulary is mostly defined and explained. Ali briefly discusses the disease's history, vaccines, prevention, risk factors, liver disorders, and related diseases.— Choice Reviews

Understanding Hepatitis: An Introduction for Patients and Caregivers is exceptionally well written, thoroughly 'reader friendly' in organization and presentation, and unreservedly recommended for personal, community, medical clinic, college, and university library Health & Medicine collections.— Midwest Book Review
I’ve been in the Clinical diagnostic laboratory business for a long, long time. Each year, thousands of patients are screened for hepatitis. In this well written book, the author concisely explains it all in a format unlike any other I have seen. I’m going to recommend it to those who are interested in a basic overview of Hepatitis. It also serves as a valuable resource for practicing Laboratorians, Pathologists, Residents, Fellows and to Health care practitioners researching the advanced clinical aspects of Hepatitis.
